First 5k!!!!! I am going to. I have to! Date of 5k: December 4th.
Do a cartwheel- I have never done one before. So I kinda want to learn. Just to say I can.
Climb Tsunami- its a hot+ climb. And HARD. This goal might change if I do it sometime soon.
Get my first tattoo that I have had planned for about 4 years now (gotta get dat cash)
Lets start there for now.
Lets check on my progress shall we? I wrote this on a TOTAL whim.
1. Totally didn’t do that 5k. Ended up being on a day I was scheduled to work and no one could cover my shift because we are so short staffed. Disappointing but there will always be more 5ks!
2. Yeah forgot I said this one. I need to find someone to teach me. I still have time.
3. Totally climbed Tsunami forever ago! I was just writing up my class rock climbing log and since then I have climbed a bunncchhh of hot pluses (Toxic Gumbo, Peppermint Patty, Tsunami, Jedi Mind Tricks, etc.) Can I say I am a badass climber yet? ;)
4. Still working on the cash and the design. Don’t wanna rush this.
As we all know, its been a bit wacko with finals for everyone. I haven’t been hardcore counting my calories (though I haven’t been eating like a jackass either) and the past few days I have physically not had time to go to the gym.
That said, I am making sure I get to the gym today! :) I did go climbing yesterday but only did like 2 climbs because most of the wall has been taken down and the climbs I wanted to do were already in use.
But thats okay! I have been walking a TON everyday and Ill be back to normal posting soon.
Found out that I am the same height as my rock climbing instructor but I have about a one and a half inch wingspan advantage over him. Which totally doesn’t sound like much but he is a climbing god and there is officially a move I can do that he can’t.
S: 230- 2 pieces tangerine, Luna Peanut Butter Cookie bar, 1 cup chicken broth

Today I didn’t have time to go to the gym because of all of my classes. But I biked around campus as usual and it was a busy night at the restaurant. Because I am constantly walking, I estimating (with about 15 minutes biking) that I burned at least 766 calories today. With work I could very well have burned more but I always like to guesstimate less just in case, you know? Basically 6 hours of non stop walking with a few brief moments of standing, carrying, lifting, etc.
Not bad :)
Edit: Probably gonna nibble on either some edamame, some soy yogurt, or I am gonna eat part of a turkey avocado sandwich I made earlier just cause I did work so much today and I don’t like having burned that much for having only eaten that much. Thats just me though!

Exercise today was just a ton of walking around (in the rain grrr) and then I did a few new climbs on the wall today. I <3 new climbs! Calories burned= 307
Rainy days make me… Hungry? No idea. I was just hungry today. I should have skipped the fries at lunch but I wanted salty and they were tasty. No regrets. Still not a bad day. Tomorrow I am in the gym for sure but no climbing. And also another avocado should be ripe!
Eh. It was a long day. Not beating myself up for anything!

Today at the gym I jogged for 20 minutes (1.6 miles, burning 176 calories) and I also hung out at the rock wall for 2 hours. I did a few climbs, including a new hot+ called Spicy Gumbo. ITS SUCH A GOOD CLIMB. You literally are climbing on the side of the rock wall closest to an exposed brick wall and you literally put your thumb into a crack between two bricks and use that as a hold. And I got it. And I felt BEAST.
Also I have been working on my sit starts and I got one today! Then I realized can’t get the next move. Better than last week :) :) (That was Dude Rock On, which is a… hot? Or hot + can’t remember)
Jogging + biking around campus + doing a few climbs= 517 calories apparently
