My new schedule...
Summer has made me WAY too lazy! I hate waiting to go to the gym until 9pm. It makes me feel like butt.
Starting tomorrow, awake by 8am at the latest. Small breakfast. Gym. Shower. Get on with my life!
I really need to do it this way so I feel awesome all day.
I love you summertime but I think we need to start seeing other people.

Weirdest thing...
Felt so incredibly sick after the gym today. Guess I didn’t drink enough water or something. So odd though. Almost made it through my whole workout except I didn’t get to jog at the end. Went home and napped it off.
Don’t want that to happen again! Haha

Todays workout...
Will be as follows.. Because I have been slacking hardcore!
At home:
10 pushups
2.5 minutes fast jump roping
30 mountain climbers
Take a 1 minute break and repeat 3 times
At gym: (Today is shoulders, back, abs) All using 10 lb dumbbells
5 minute treadmill warmup
Shoulders: dumbbell shoulder press, dumbbell front raise, dumbbell upright row
Back: barbell row, dumbbell shrug, wide grip...

100 day Burpee challenge?
I read about this a few years ago and was like “Cool!” then forgot it because I was too lazy to do it.
HOWEVER. Burpees is both a kinda gross sounding word and an awesome exercise!!
Would anyone be interested in doing the 100 day burpee challenge with me?
Basically on day 1 you do 1 burpee, day 2 you do 2 burpees…. day 100 you do 100 burpees!

Family I haven't seen in ages..
Came into town yesterday and screwed up my workouts!!
So today is a catch up and go harder day :)
Just woke up so I am FINALLY gonna actually start 30 day shred. No really I am. Then breakfast, visiting, lunch, swimming with my friend from school who lives in town but we never met til we both moved to Massachusetts, gym, shower, dinner, husband comes home!

Taking a spoonful of cottage cheese, two turkey slices, and some butter lettuce and putting it in half of a whole wheat Trader Joes tortilla.
Also, I helped my moms friend out with moving and cleaning her house and she gave me treats in return!

I used to play rugby before my motorcycle accident and haven’t been able to play since March 14th, 2010. Yeah I do remember the exact date.
I was a lock which meant I was a total badass if I do say so myself. I once spent a season playing on a broken foot before we realized what was wrong with it.

Bad start to my day! In the form of the second half of my burrito and a maple leaf cookie (really what in the world was my brain thinking??). Oh well! For the rest of the day I have a long day of exercise, food shopping, and moving boxes!
I just need to pick up some fresh vegetables and I will be good :)

Jog underwater for 5 minutes
Tread water for 5 minutes
Swim and have fun in the sun for as long as I would like
Treadmill for at least 15 minutes

Edit: I FORGOT JILLIAN! I need to check out this 30 day shred dvd that came in the mail and see whats up with that?

My workout today...
SO SORE!!!!! Man those squats and deadlifts yesterday killed my legs enough to where today I was jogging and was like Ow Ow Ow Ow. So I took it a little easy on myself. Mostly power walked for 20 minutes for a cool 130 calories. Then did 50 trunk twists with a 10 lb weight, 40 toe touch crunches, and 10 pushups. Light day! I will hit hard tomorrow.

Had a pretty great day today...
Ate around 1,235 calories mostly from vegetables, fruit, and protein with a few little treats so I don’t go crazy.
But had a GREAT workout! (See previous post for deets!)
I just love summertime <3 Wish my husband wasn’t going to Mexico tomorrow without me but my grandma is coming into town so that will be nice.
In all, I would rate this day an A-. I could go for a little more...

Spagetti Squash? It's what's for dinner!
Take a spagetti squash and chop that sucker in half! Scrape out the pulp and seeds. If you want, save the seeds and roast them! I didn’t.. :(
When all scraped out, place in a preheated over at 350 degrees. I sprayed a light coat of Pam on mine. Not necessary. Let cook for around 40 minutes until you can scrape the insides into little threads with a fork.

Just got back from my first personal training...
WOW MY ARMS ARE SO SORE ITS RIDICULOUS.
But really guys. This woman kicked my ass and she is like a foot shorter than me.
I found out that my body is about 20.3% fat with this strange little hand thing that sends a shock through your body and looks at conductivity (muscle conducts electricity, fat does not). She said this is a very healthy range for my age/height (19 yo and 5’11”)...
