Tomorrow I want to go to the gym in the morning to go for a long run on the treadmill and then tomorrow afternoon to get some awesome ab work and lifting in. Yeah I know. Two times in one day. But it means I will have time so I am soooooo ready!!!
Right now I am gonna do pushups, sit ups, toe touch crunches, oblique knee touches, KNEE HUG AB LADDER (5 knee hugs, reverse superman for 5 seconds, 10 hugs, 10 seconds, etc), and maybe some jump roping.
Then gonna definitely get some tasty food for breakfast! If the menu online is right for the dorm dining hall, I think I’d like some melon, some pumpernickel toast, scrambled eggs, and maybe some soy milk.
Starting my day off right!! Hiking yesterday was really just what I needed to kick my body into remembering how awesome it is to feel active. Wish I could make more time for the gym…
SERIOUS QUESTION TIME: Has anyone ever broken a bone that required pins/plates? Do you still have the hardware in your or did you have it removed? Please please please respond if you have ever had a procedure like that!
Pretty unhappy with how I have been eating since I am living in a dorm again. I just miss cooking and shopping for myself (I don’t have a fridge so its hard and no car, time, etc.) It hasn’t been awful but it really is hard when you have SO few choices for food. Believe me when I say this.
My job also requires about 14 hours a day right now since its a summer science program for high school girls. Aka no gym time whatsoever.
I was able to get to the gym for a bit yesterday and played some ultimate frisbee the day before that but I have officially FUCKED UP my ankle part 1339393.
I am so sick of my ankle to the point of thinking I need to get myself to a doctor when I am home in a month. I hate being physically unable to jump, run, etc.
BUT BUT BUT as shitty a day as it has been, it just means I need to work harder. More fruit and veggies, soy milk, no more bagels in the morning as easy as they are, etc.
Starting tomorrow expect to see great things again, ladies and gents. Also, I am thinking I am willing to wake up at 6:45am to go to the gym starting tomorrow. Ill report back!
Breakfast: Half a bagel, tablespoon cream cheese, cup of milk, plum
Lunch: Half turkey grilled cheese, salad, cookie
Dinner: Veggie burger, salad, watermelon, brownie
Snacks: Cheez its, fruit roll up
Exercise: Around an hour walking
1 hour of ultimate frisbee
Basically I am an intern at a summer science camp for a month so its been CRAZY! I am not going crazy with bad food but I need to cut out the random snacking during staff meetings/replace with apples or better foods. I am walking a ton I just miss my gym :( Tomorrow I have a night off though so I am gonna beeeee there fa sho!
