Sometimes I get excites about lunch and forget to take pictures. Turkey, lettuce, avocado, garlic hummus on peppercorn asiago bread. Carrots and cucumber. Dark chocolate homemade pudding cup with blackberries.
Starting to run lower on groceries.... Shopping list time :)
I have been cooking a ton and loving it so much!
I need to figure out what I want for this week! I have some awesome meals stuck in my freezer but I am running low on fruits and veggies! Only some watermelon, lettuce, carrots, one apple, and half a honey dew left.
I think this week I really wanna buy some salmon though. It sounds sooooo good right now.
Yes, I am trying to lose a little bit of weight. I was down to 145 last year (I am 5’11”) but recently I have not been climbing nearly enough, haven’t been jogging, eating a ton (its summer, I have been traveling, etc aka I let myself make too many excuses) so I have gone up to maybe 160 again? But really, I am just feeling sluggish and my rock climbing is slacking hardcore.
So yep. I am back on the healthy band wagon. But really, I just liked my body being a lot stronger than it is now. Plus, with my schedule I really need to make sure I feel good all the time with two jobs, rugby, and rock climbing!
(Because I will finally have time off tomorrow after I work my first job from 9-5)
Turkey zucchini meatballs
I am learning the art of freezer meals (see: meatballs) because I currently working 9-5pm M-F in my research lab and also got a job at a restaurant working 4 days a week from 6pm to whenever I get off! Normally 10:30 but when I close it will be later.
Not a lot of time for cooking! So when I have time to do prep and get stuff ready, I take advantage of it!
Did two 10.bs and a 10.c before my belay partner had to go. We just met up for a quick 5:30am climbing session! She had to run off to work though.
I stayed at the gym since I have my membership now (!!!) and did some bouldering.
I have said it before.
I am NOT a boulderer.
But today? I had fun!
I am used to the V scale so I am not sure what the R/I/A/O ratings would convert to but normally, I am lucky when I can do a v1 or v2. The other day I tried a few problems that were Recreational 2 and was like uuhhhhhgggg whhyyyyyy.
But this morning I did an R8. It was SO cool. Easy beginning but you have to heel hook than dyno up to the hold thats two moves away from the top. And it was FRICKING AWESOME.
Such a great morning. Then walked to work (.7 miles) and took the stairs (7 flights)
